TOKYO, June 22 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average edged 0.2 percent lower on Monday, with exporters such as Canon Inc losing ground as the dollar dipped against the yen. But defensive shares such as Chugai Pharmaceutical gained as investors sought the security of shares seen as resilient during uncertain economic times. The benchmark Nikkei lost 0.2 percent to 9,769.52, while the broader Topix rose 0.1 percent to 919.70. (Reporting by Elaine Lies)
