Investing.com - Canada’s Ivey Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) rose more than expected last month, data showed on Monday.
The Ivey PMI increased to 63.8 in October, from 59.6 in the preceding month, according to the survey prepared by Canada’s Richard Ivey School of Business.
Analysts had expected the reading to rise to just 60.2 last month.
Following the release, USD/CAD traded at 1.2772, compared to 1.2776 ahead of the report.
