More Than Just Profile Pictures

MOOAR started as a Profile Picture (PFP), creator-centric NFT marketplace based on Ethereum and Solana. The NFT marketplace has shared that it believes digital identity is the future which is why it focuses on PFP NFT projects.

However, in the latest blog post, MOOAR revealed that it is more inclusive this time and expects creators to submit innovative projects with utility that could benefit the ecosystem.

The NFT marketplace reiterated that while PFPs are an integral part of MOOAR’s roadmap for the future of Web3, it doesn’t mean that other avenues of value creation should be filtered out.

Here are essential details about Launchpad Season 2:

  • Users can make submissions until 16th February.
  • Once the submission period closes, MOOAR’s team will review all submissions.
  • MOOAR will approve the top ten most promising projects and officially enter them into the Season 2 launchpad contest.
  • The NFT marketplace has also made a few launchpad adjustments, including changes to ticket prices, voting limit, creator toolkit, and more.
  • The upper limit for ticket prices has increased to 200 GMT.
  • The voting limit has increased to 30,000 GMT per account.
  • Season 2 will host submissions from both Solana and Ethereum.
  • Users can vote for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creators can issue NFTs in batches in the newest season.
  • Finally, users can mint up to 20 Ethereum-based NFTs in one go.
