Nakamoto Games and the Growing Play-To-Earn Industry

In October, Nakamoto Games launched its highly anticipated testnet that allowed early testers to experience the vast potential of the play-to-earn ecosystem being built by the Nakamoto Games team. This testnet launch will be followed by a mainnet launch in November as the development team behind Nakamoto Games continues to outpace the remainder of the blockchain gaming market. The play-to-earn industry has grown considerably with the expansion of blockchain- and cryptocurrency-based services, and Nakamoto Games is taking things to the next level by bringing unprecedented optionality to gamers via its suite of superb play-to-earn games.

The race to deliver fast, performant, and highly engaging and interactive gaming ecosystems that provide play-to-earn capabilities is heating up. Read on below to learn more about the vision of Nakamoto Games for this space and recent development updates from the team.

Nakamoto Games’ vision is to provide gamers and developers across the globe with the opportunity to participate in many different blockchain-based games – not just for entertainment but to also generate a sustainable and sizable income. All it takes is a simple three-step process: connecting to the comprehensive platform with a Web3 wallet that holds their native NAKA tokens, choosing one of their cutting-edge play-to-earn gaming options, and earning from your gaming activities.

Anyone with a cryptocurrency wallet will be able to access a wide variety of play-to-earn games on the platform, allowing these players to earn by leveraging their gaming activities. Nakamoto Games will also launch an in-house suite of its own games while also incentivizing developers to create and deploy their own play-to-earn creations. Developers will be able to monetize their games in many creative and innovative ways, and players will also be able to compete for prize pools and lucrative rewards. The inaugural release from Nakamoto Games – a shooting-based play-to-earn game titled Duck Hunter – was launched in October to a group of 40 testers. The feedback from this selection of testers was phenomenal. By combining seamless game mechanics, lucrative incentives, and limitless optionality throughout platform releases, Nakatomo Games is creating a new standard in the play-to-earn gaming space.

Platform Mechanics

The Nakamoto Games platform uses the NAKA token as fuel for its games. It can be used, for example, to purchase ammo in shooting-based games, or to buy skins, powerups, hints, and gear, depending on the title, game, and developer. Everything can be tailored to the likes and preferences of the user or developer and provides endless options for customization, interactivity, and gameflow.

Platform earnings that are accumulated in the form of NAKA will be added to a prize pool and partially burned to maintain the stability and deflationary structure of the NAKA token’s economics. Winners receive a share from the prize pool immediately after the game was played. NAKA token holders will also have the opportunity to vote on proposals such as the burning of NAKA tokens and how prize pools are structured, thereby giving real-life players – those most impacted by platform-level changes and improvements – a say in the platform’s governance.

Finally, NAKA tokens may be used for other initiatives as well, such as the creation of a fund to incentivize research and game development to enhance the Nakamoto Games ecosystem. This can be done via, for example, a bounty program or prizes for the most successful game or the game with the most engaged user base.

Future Activities

Nakamoto Games is lined up for listing on two decentralized exchanges and one centralized exchange in Q4 of 2021. Last month, Duck Hunter was successfully released on the testnet. With the mainnet launch taking place in November, Nakamoto Games will launch with three cutting-edge play-to-earn gaming options. In the proceeding months, Nakamoto Games will follow with more gaming releases. Nakamoto Games will also follow through in Q1 of next year with the release of its developer SDK to spur the development of games on the platform.
