Malta is about to host its second grand crypto industry event in as many months, with the Malta Blockchain Summit to follow the Delta Summit taking place on October 3-5. The new forum is scheduled for November 1-2 and is expected to welcome over 4,000 delegates, 1,000 investors, 100 speakers, and 300 sponsors.

The Malta Blockchain Summit will take place at the InterContinental and is poised to become another grand industry event riding the Maltese crypto wave and boosting it at the same time. It will feature many exclusive events, including four major conferences, a hackathon, an extensive expo floor, an ICO Pitch area, and a Blockchain Awards ceremony.

Malta has earned the name of “Blockchain Island” for its massive contribution to blockchain regulation and legislation, emerging as the first country in the world to offer clear guidelines and rules for industry players.

This open-minded attitude has prompted two of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges - Binance and OKEx - to relocate to Malta, cementing the country's status as a global blockchain and cryptocurrency hub.
