Investment Strategy

The objective of the Commodities investment approach is to outperform a “Strategic Benchmark”, which is an equal sector-weighted version of the S&P Goldman Sachs Commodity Index. Individual commodity exposures, contract selection, and sector allocations are all actively managed relative to the Strategic Benchmark. Our approach to managing commodities is distinguished by its balanced sector exposure, the incorporation of fundamental research, and moderate turnover of active positions.
