The Fund aims to achieve above average capital growth over the long term. It looks to outperform the S&P 500 Index over rolling 3-year periods, after the deduction of charges. Biography Nicolas Janvier is Head of US Equities, EMEA, at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He took up this role in October 2020 and leads the London-based team which manages a significant US equities franchise for clients. He is currently lead manager for the Threadneedle American strategy and Threadneedle American Smaller Companies strategy, as well as ESG portfolios managed by the London team. Biography Amit Kumar is portfolio manager for the American Absolute Alpha Fund and the American Extended Alpha Fund. He is also responsible for researching US companies across the consumer discretionary and technology sectors. Amit joined the company in 2014 as a senior portfolio analyst in the US Equities team. Before joining the company, Amit spent seven years with Artham Capital and Swiss Re Asset Management, where he worked as a research analyst. Prior to that, he spent nine years in the technology industry IBM, TCS and a number of tech start-up firms. Amit holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BSc in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Amit is a published author whose work includes Short Selling: Find Uncommon Short Ideas. He is also a visiting lecturer on value investing at London Business School.

Biography Neil Robson is Head of Global Equities at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He joined the company in 2011 as a portfolio manager within the Global Equities team and became head of the team in July 2017. He is the lead manager of the Threadneedle Global Select and Global Extended Alpha strategies and deputy manager of the Threadneedle Global Smaller Companies strategy. Before joining the company, Neil worked as a portfolio manager at companies including Martin Currie, Barings and Citibank. In addition, he was Head of Global Equity at Pioneer Investments from 2003 to 2009. Neil has an Economics degree from the University of Bristol.
Stephen Moore Portfolio Manager 2007 2014
Biography Stephen has managed Artemis' US Extended Alpha and US Absolute Return Funds since launch. He holds a BComm and BA from the University of Queensland and is an associate of the Securities Institute of Australia. Stephen began his career at First State in 1997 and moved to Threadneedle's US team in 2002. He launched the Threadneedle American Extended Alpha Fund in 2007, became lead manager on the US hedge fund in 2008 and launched the Threadneedle American Absolute Alpha Fund in 2010. Stephen joined Artemis in 2014.
