From 2000 Ben was an analyst with Schroders’ Pan European research team where he had responsibility for construction, basic materials and oil & gas sectors. He later became a global basic materials sector specialist and spent time working as an EAFE portfolio manager. Ben left Schroders in 2005 to work for the UK Government as a senior analyst conducting geopolitical risk analysis before returning in 2013. BA (Hons) from Oxford University in History and Modern Languages (French).

Biography	Giles is the lead portfolio manager for the JSS Sustainable Equity – Global Thematic strategy. Additionally as part of the Sarasin & Partners global thematic investment team, he has portfolio management responsibilities across the global thematic fund range. Giles is also a research analyst, with a specific focus on the ‘evolving consumption’ theme. Prior to joining Sarasin & Partners, Giles was the lead fund manager of climate change and thematic/sector funds at Schroders, as well as holding responsibilities as an analyst within the global sector specialist team. Giles has also been a portfolio manager at F&C asset management (BMO) as a global fund manager for their flagship ESG and thematic product.
