The Fund aims to provide capital growth in excess of the FTSE World Series Europe ex UK (Gross Total Return) index (after fees have been deducted) over a three to five year period by investing in equity and equity related securities of European companies, excluding the UK. The Fund is actively managed and invests at least 80% of its assets in equity and equity related securities of large and mid sized European companies, excluding the UK. These are companies that, at the time of purchase, are considered to be in the top 90% by market capitalisation of the European equities market.

Biography | Martin Skanberg is a European Equity Fund Manager in Schroders European Blend team. He manages a range of Eurozone and Europe ex UK portfolios. Martin joined Schroders in 2004 as an industrials analyst, before taking on portfolio management responsibilities in 2006. His investment career commenced in 1994 when he joined SEB Asset Management. He was initially an investment analyst for Nordic industrials and basic materials before becoming their Head of European Research in 1999. Martin has also worked at American Express Asset Management as a senior investment analyst responsible for Industrials and Telecoms. Biography | Denis' investment career commenced in 1983 when he joined Schroders as a senior Japanese research analyst. In 1985 he began managing the Schroder Tokyo Fund. In 1987 he was seconded to Schroders in Japan, before returning to London at the end of 1989 where he continued to manage Japanese equity portfolios for both retail and institutional clients. Biography | Leon Howard-Spink is a European Equity Fund Manager at Schroders. He launched the European Special Situations strategy in 2006 after joining Schroders in 2005. He has co-managed the European Innovators strategy since launching it in 2020. Leon’s investment career commenced in 1997 at Jupiter Asset Management. He managed the Pan European Fund Centrale Croissance Europe from January 1999 to July 2005 and Jupiter European Special Situations Fund from January 2001 to July 2005. Qualifications: MA in Politics from Edinburgh University. |
