Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income exempt from regular federal income tax by investing in municipal instruments. Except in extraordinary circumstances, at least 80% of the fund’s net assets will be invested in debt instruments that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal income tax. The fund's dollar-weighted average maturity will range from at least one year to less than six years.
