Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income exempt from regular federal income tax by investing in municipal instruments. Except in extraordinary circumstances, at least 80% of the fund’s net assets will be invested in debt instruments that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal income tax. The fund's dollar-weighted average maturity, under normal circumstances, will range between three and ten years.

Biography	Nate Miller is a Second Vice President at The Northern Trust Company, Chicago. He relocated to Arizona in 1996 and worked as a Relationship Manager in the Corporate and Institutional Administration Group. Biography	Peter J. Flood is a Senior Vice President at the Northern Trust Company, Chicago. Biography	Eric V. Boeckmann, Senior Vice President and portfolio manager of Northern Trust Investments, Inc. He joined the firm in 1985. He is responsible for municipal bond mutual funds as well as a number of separately managed municipal bond portfolios, including common trust funds invested in municipal securities. He received a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.
