Matthew chairs the working group for the Multi-Asset Fund and is responsible for portfolio construction, risk management, research and hedging. In his role within the portfolio management team, Matthew also participates in a wider variety of client-related investment solutions for AMP Investments and has extensive experience in portfolio construction, managing alternative assets, and investment risk analysis. Matthew joined AMP Ltd in 1989. Subsequently, he has held various positions including as a portfolio manager in global hedge funds, divisional director of investment risk (research and strategy, Henderson Global Investors, London) and head of portfolio analytics (UK equities, AMP Asset Management, London).

Biography Jeff joined AMP Capital in 2011 from ipac securities following its acquisition AMP Ltd and is responsible for driving investment outcomes for the retail channel. Prior to the move to AMP Capital, Jeff was Chief Investment Officer and Head of the Investment Management team at ipac Securities – a role he held for five years. Jeff has extensive experience in investment management. Prior to joining ipac, he was the Head of Investment at the Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC), the investment management arm of the State of Victoria. His team managed more than A$35 billion of assets on behalf of superannuation, insurance and endowment funds. Jeff managed this team for eight years. Prior to joining VFMC, Jeff was the Head of Quantitative Analysis at Prudential Portfolio Managers Australia and before this, performed a senior quantitative role at McIntosh Securities. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and forums.
