Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide both current income and long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in equity securities. "Assets" means net assets, plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes. It primarily invests in foreign companies of various market capitalizations, including foreign subsidiaries of U.S. companies and may invest any amount of its assets in emerging markets. Generally, the advisor intends to focus its investments in dividend yielding equity securities. The fund may also invest up to 20% of its assets in equity or debt securities of any issuer.
