Investment Strategy
The fund is a global balanced portfolio with a primary objective to provide the investor with a balanced consistent income and capital appreciation over the long term. To achieve this objective the portfolio will, apart from assets in liquid form, consist solely of participatory interests in the Grindrod Global Managed Growth Fund, which is the sub-fund of a foreign collective investment scheme of Sanlam Universal Funds PLC, US Dollar denominated and domiciled in Ireland. The underlying fund aims to achieve a return in excess of 3% of the US Consumer Price Index measured over a rolling three year period.

| Biography | Andrew joined Grindrod Asset Management in early 2013 and is currently a Portfolio Manager. Andrew has worked as a Product Development Analyst at Symmetry within the Old Mutual Group and then in the offshore hedge fund division at Maitland. Prior to joining Grindrod Asset Management, Andrew worked at Insinger de Beaufort BNP Paribas, a boutique asset manager and family wealth office.
