Investment Strategy

The Fund aims to provide growth in line with its risk profile in the long term, which is a period of five years or more. To achieve its objective the Fund will invest a minimum of 70% in collective investment schemes that in turn invest in shares of companies (equities), bonds, derivatives and alternative asset classes such as property, hedge funds, private equity and commodities. The Fund may also invest up to 30% directly in bonds where the investment objective can be more efficiently achieved and may also invest directly in shares of companies in limited circumstances. The Fund will be invested across global markets.

Biography	Ms. Hitch is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Team Head of Multi Asset Solutions at HSBC Global Asset Management (USA) Inc. She is primarily responsible for determining the Funds’ allocation to each asset class. Ms. Hitch has been with Multi Asset Solutions as a Senior Portfolio Manager since August 2009 and was named Team Head in August 2010. She previously held positions as a portfolio manager for both retail and institutional clients of the Adviser as well as other industry related roles. She first joined the HSBC Group (James Capel & Co) in 1981.Ms. Hitch holds an Economics degree from Cambridge University and has over 24 years of experience in financial services.
