Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM) recently launched an exclusive collection in collaboration with London-based department store, Fortnum & Mason at 100 Williams-Sonoma retail locations in the U.S and on williams-sonoma.com – its online store.
Founded in 1707 in Piccadilly, Fortnum & Mason is one of the oldest and most widely recognized retailers in England and is known for unique, premium quality food products and gifts. Fortnum & Mason has been the exclusive supplier of tea to the British Royal Family for more than 300 years.
The new collection features 35 items including Fortnum & Mason’s iconic artisanal teas, preserves, biscuits and hampers. Gift sets include various tea blends and a collection of three preserves. The holiday specials like Fortnum’s traditional Christmas items including Christmas Pudding and Christmas Crackers will also be on offer.
The new collection will offer a taste of Britain to American customers. Fortnum & Mason’s partnership with Williams-Sonoma will also include exclusive tea education and tasting classes in four cities in May, including New York, Oak Brook, San Francisco and Beverly Hills.
Williams-Sonoma consistently comes up with exclusive designs for home furnishing items, textiles, accessories and entertainment essentials. Moreover, in order to keep up with the latest trends, the company often collaborates with celebrated brands and designers to offer high-class products. The company believes collaborations with designers and brands attract new customers, invent new trends in home furnishing and widen the company’s social media reach.
The company currently carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).
