We sense that the FOMC is moving towards a more flexible stance on the size of asset purchases. If so, the risks of holding positions in treasuries may rise with gradually higher yields, something that would have an impact on European yields as well.
There is a lot of Swedish data in the pipeline. We are looking for healthy confidence data but a poor Q4 GDP. As we see it, the former is the most important.
Issuance volume in linkers is set to almost double this year compared with 201,2 and more might be announced later in the year. Several factors speak in favour of starting to build positions for an outperformance of shorter real rate bonds, both in BEIs and along the real rate curve.
