Microsemi Declares Arrow Electronics To Be Lead Distributor

Microsemi Corporation (NASDAQ:MSCC) on Wednesday declared Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) as its leading global distributor, thus further deepening its 40-year old relationship with Arrow.

Arrow will now help the semiconductor giant to further strengthen its position in its served markets that encompass aerospace and defense, data center, communications and industrial markets.

Given the long-standing relationship between the two companies, it goes without saying that both know each other’s strengths and ways to capitalize on them. It appears that Microsemi has decided to leverage Arrow’s global sales, marketing, technical and logistical expertise in global markets. Arrow, on the other hand, looks to strengthen its go-to-market strategy, which it believes perfectly complements Microsemi’s comprehensive product portfolio.
