JD.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:JD) is expected to report third-quarter 2018 results on Nov 12.

The company surpassed estimates only once in the trailing four quarters, recording average positive earnings surprise of 0.14%. Notably, the company reported a negative earnings surprise of 58.33% in the second-quarter 2018.

Shares of JD.com have lost 43.1% on a year-to-date basis against the industry’s rally of 1%.

In the second quarter, net revenues from online direct sales increased 29.4% from the prior-year quarter to RMB110.5 billion (US$16.7 billion). It accounted for 91% of the total second-quarter sales.
