gold is alternative to (stagnation in) growth, and is not an inflation hedge only. HIGH inflation with limited or even even negative growth (forecast) is good argument to go long.

Poissibly but in a reccesions nomally gold falls was well, if nobody has money who will the little disposable income on gold ??
