Today I'd like to take a look at DASH coin the cryptocurrency, not to be confused with the Kardashian’s clothing store, and see how it’s been doing. While the Kardashian Dash stores are preparing to close shop, Dash coin continued its bullish momentum on Monday, gaining 7.55% according to coinmarketcap.

Dash Coin Price Action

Dash focuses on being the digital cash, the most user-friendly and scalable payment system in the world. In the past week, it’s been up almost 40%, bottoming out at $289. It is testing the upper band of the daily Ichimoku cloud at the time of writing.

DASH/USD D1 Chart

On Ichimoku Kinko Hyo’s standard daily setup, the Tenkan line has crossed above the Kijun line, while the Chiko span has yet to break above the cloud. With this, we could still see a temporary pullback but the new uptrend appears to be strong enough to turn into a medium-term bullish sentiment.

Dash Coin Overview

Dash was originally released as XCoin on January 18, 2014.

Being once incredibly underrated, Dash was able to make its way into the top 10 cryptocurrencies back in 2017. But it has since dropped to 12th on the list based on market capitalization.

Regardless, Dash is aiming to make up for the losses by continuously improving its main features such as transparency, convenience, and speed.

Dash has a monthly budget of 2.5 million USD for technical developments. This has made many Dash holders believe that the company’s development team is dedicated to making this coin more advantageous.
