The fund’s objective is to provide investors with capital preservation, liquidity and reasonable returns by investing its assets in Malaysian Ringgit deposits with a remaining maturity of not more than 366 days with United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd (“UOBM”). The fund will invest in a portfolio of Malaysian Ringgit deposits with a remaining maturity of not more than 366 days with UOBM. A portfolio of money market deposits and fixed deposits with different maturity profiles will be constructed to meet the fund’s liquidity requirement while maximizing portfolio returns. The fund Manager will place short dated deposits with UOBM for liquidity management purposes while extending the tenor of the Fund’s investment in bank deposits for better yield pick-up.
