Investment Strategy

To achieve long term capital growth whilst managing the downside risk thus aiming to add an element of protection to capital invested. The objective will be reached by protecting the funds market value at a specified forward level. And by locking in returns by raising this floor when the fund value rises strongly. The protection will be affected by using a quantitative risk model that will adjust the funds asset allocation dynamically over time. Derivatives will be used tactically to manage the downside risk and to capture or lock in gains as and when they occur. Derivative exposure will be within limitations for unit trusts.
