Investment Strategy

Investment in equity securities of companies listed on recognized exchanges. The portfolio aims to employ a specialist equity approach that combines a top down macro view of South African value opportunities whereby the shares included will reflect the larger global economic picture. Furthermore the share selection also includes a bottom-up insight into those shares within designated sectors that, from a valuation perspective, appear to be trading below their long term intrinsic value. Shares included are typically securities that are calculated to be under-priced and for part of the pool of shares characterised by a low share price relative to earnings, dividend yield and net asset value.
