Investment Strategy

The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to provide an investment return with a low level of capital volatility whilst maintaining liquidity. The performance of the Sub-Fund will be benchmarked against the SONIA. In order to achieve its investment objective, the Sub-Fund is actively managed and will invest in a diversified portfolio of short term debt and debt related instruments which are primarily denominated in Sterling but may also be denominated in other currencies and hedged back to Sterling, and which are traded on the Markets or which are traded on such Markets within a year of being issued.

Biography	Caroline Hedges is the Global Head of Liquidity Portfolio Management at Aviva Investors overseeing the portfolio management of liquidity funds in the UK and Europe. Caroline also manages the Sterling Liquidity Plus Fund. For twelve years prior to this Caroline was a Portfolio Manager for a range of money market and short duration bond funds at Aviva Investors. Caroline has a BSc in Mathematics and is a CFA charterholder.

Biography	He joined the then Commercial Union in 1983 to work within the UK fi nance area. In 1987 he moved to Treasury where he became a Treasury Dealer, Assistant Manager and Manager. Matthew is an Associate Member of the Institute of Corporate Treasurers.
