Investment Strategy
The Sub-Fund seeks a reasonably high income whilst maintaining a prudent policy of capital conservation, through investing in fixed interest securities primarily within the Asian region. The Sub-Fund invests primarily in Asian bonds, including both government and corporate bond, and also investment grade, non-investment grade and non-rated bond. Derivative instruments may be acquired for investment purposes or hedging purposes. The Sub-Fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in contingent convertible securities; however such investment is not expected to exceed 5%.
