Prior to this he worked in the U.K. team, where he was deputy head of U.K. research. Before this, Austin worked as a research analyst covering engineering, and subsequently all financial sectors. Austin obtained a B.A. in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, and earned a Ph.D. in Modern Languages from Cambridge University.

Biography Greg Mattiko is a portfolio manager responsible for Active Global Emerging Markets portfolios based in London. He joined the firm in 2003 and has been managing the Discovery strategy since September 2005. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Greg was a director of portfolio management for Value Management & Research AG, based in Kronberg, Germany for 7 years where he was responsible for European Long/Short, European Technology, Global, and U.S. equity funds. In addition to managing portfolios he is a former director of the supervisory board of a French exchange-listed company, advised institutional clients in global asset allocation, and has experience in private equity valuation. Previous to Value Management & Research Greg worked for Fidelity Investments for 4 years in Dallas, Luxembourg and London. He is a holder of the CFA designation, has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Management from Boston University.
