Investment Strategy

The Sub-Fund is actively managed and targets better returns than its benchmark, the Refinitiv Global Convertible Focus Index USD, by investing in a portfolio of convertible securities while taking into account ESG considerations. There are no restrictions on the extent to which the Sub-Fund's portfolio and performance may deviate from the ones of the benchmark. As part of the investment process, the Investment Manager has full discretion over the composition of the Sub-Fund's portfolio and may take exposure to companies, countries or sectors not included in the benchmark.

Biography	Zain is a Portfolio Manager within the Convertible Bond Team. Zain joined BlueBay in January 2012 as a fund accountant within the Finance department before moving to his current role in June 2014. Prior to joining BlueBay, Zain worked for three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior associate within the assurance department. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Warwick. Zain is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Biography	Michael joined BlueBay Asset Management LLP in October 2007 from Pendragon where, as a Partner, he ran the company's convertible arbitrage strategies. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Salomon Brothers, responsible for international convertible bond trading from 1994 to 2002. Michael joined the Japanese Warrant Arbitrage desk at Salomon in 1989 and spent two years trading in Tokyo. Michael holds a B.Eng. from Southampton University.
