The Fund seeks to maximise total return. The Fund invests at least 70% of total assets in fixed income transferable securities issued by companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in, emerging markets. Currency exposure is flexibly managed.

| Biography | Celina Apóstolo Merrill, Managing Director, is a Portfolio Manager and the Head of Emerging Markets Corporate Debt at BlackRock. Her expertise includes deep-dive fundamental analysis across the credit spectrum, relative value analysis in liquid markets, and active creditor participation in restructurings . She began her career in Investment Banking at Goldman, Sachs & Co., followed by Distressed investing in Latin America and the United States at TPG Credit Management and Credit Suisse Securities. Ms. Merrill received a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International Relations from Yale University and her M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the advisory boards for Win, largest provider of family shelter and supportive housing in New York City. Ms. Merrill is originally from El Salvador and is a native Spanish Speaker. | ||
