My preference is for simple, obvious trades with as minor risk as possible. Often, particularly as beginning traders, we have the mistaken opinion that a trade is complex, sophisticated and therefore hard to find, recognize and surely difficult to exploit. Little could be further from the truth. Thyer first step is to identify an asset that tis trending. That trend can be well underway or in an early stage of formation. Once the movement is recognized, we then attempt to understand the reasons for the movement. Should they be comprehendible and have a reasonable certainty of continuing, we trade along with them. If this sounds simple it is because it is simple. This is not to say that there is no risk involved because as with all activities in the capital markets, risk is ever present.
