What is your professional background?

For the past X years I have been a professional Forex trader and educator. Before starting FX V-room, I was a lead instructor for a large Forex company, where I taught and created curriculum for a beginning, intermediate and advanced training series. While I was instructing, I also traded for a multi-million-dollar private fund.

After seeing the challenges most of my students faced in becoming professional traders, I partnered with two marketers and a social networking expert to create FX V-room.com. I realized how many potentially great traders fall by the wayside due to isolation or the need for continuing education, and I wanted to create an environment that was educational and collaborative, and where you could meet like-minded traders. 

A former educational services professional, I’ve really put my skills to work in creating what I believe is the best education platform for the Forex market at FX V-room.
I’ve instructed for major brokerages (such as Forex.com), and I have designed and taught instructional seminars, workshops and training courses, both in-person and online.  I’ve also had the honor of speaking at many seminars and trade shows, and always look forward to teaching others about this exciting industry. At this point, I have taught thousands of people how to trade and I am proud to keep doing so.
 
Can you briefly highlight for us FX V-room ’s involvement with the foreign exchange market?

At FX V-room, we know that it’s not luck, it’s not chance—it’s education that makes you a great trader, and that’s what we provide: solid, in-depth Forex training, from the basics to the most advanced strategies.

Created by a team of professional traders and social networking experts, FX V-room provides an environment where Forex traders can exchange trading strategies, meet new traders and learn from experts. We also provide trade analyses to help our community recognize various recurring strategies, and an education platform where traders can learn pattern recognition; users will have access to trading tools and insight from our team of professional traders. In short, we provide all the education and support necessary to becoming a great Forex trader.

Could you please describe the services your company offers for the Forex market?

FX V-room provides up-to-date Forex trading information, an award-winning learning platform, expert trading tools and tips, analysis of successful trades, and a community that connects traders all over the world.

When I was instructing and trading for a fund, the number one complaint we heard about being an FX trader is that trading can be isolating.

Where do you go for support or to get other traders’ perspectives and experience? We’ve built a  community where others share your goals, passions, and experiences. FX V-room is your virtual FX support and safety net.

So how do you get involved?
Easy! Just create a profile of your personal trading style. Share your trades, advice, and frustrations, while learning from other traders what works and what doesn’t. These are rich insights that you can’t get anywhere else.

As important as it is to get advice from your peers, you need experts to guide you, give advice, strategies, trading tools and tips. That’s why FX V-room also includes a strong educational component as well.  We believe that education is the foundation of any great trader. Our educational platform is useful for traders of all levels, from beginner to advanced.   Our learning center gives helps you build a solid foundation from which to trade the FX market with confidence. This includes a detailed, step-by-step course with quizzes to test your knowledge, specific guidelines that will take you through the trading basics, an extensive glossary of the most common and not so common terms used in the FX market, practice charts to refine your technical analysis skills, and direct communication with our trained Forex professionals to give you all the support you need.

We also provide an extensive video library, with training on the most common trade set-ups, chart patterns, indicators, specific trading strategies, and much more. These are updated weekly.

We also provide you with our Weekly Watch, video tutorials that provide insight on potential trading set ups on various currency pairs, on various time frames, targeting short-, medium-, and long-term momentum. Each week you will get a new possible strategy to use for the upcoming trading week.

Who is your targeted audience?

It’s really very broad. We welcome Forex traders from around the world; traders who are just learning; and advanced professionals who have been trading for years. Anyone can learn to trade this market regardless of background, education or work experience.

What are the main advantages you have over your competitors?

Our community is about expressing your personal trading style, sharing your insights and, really, the love of Forex trading. We provide the best learning platform and support for traders to become great. We are also committed to growing our community to meet the needs of our traders-- and we welcome everyone’s advice.
 
What are your personal thoughts on how the financial crisis is affecting the Forex market?

The great thing about the FX market is that we can take a position on either side of the fence, so to speak. If a currency is strengthening, we can buy that currency in anticipation that prices will continue to move higher. If a currency is weakening, we can sell that currency in anticipation that prices will move lower. With this flexibility, we have the best of both worlds.

The currency market is a very liquid market, with great opportunity and potential. With Forex, there is always a market because there is always commerce between countries. Currency trading is virtually universal, so there are always buyers and sellers, and always a market for us with continuous opportunities.

Is there anything exciting happening at FxVroom?

We are planning to add various video tutorials such as “how to use eSignal” and “New to forex”

We are working on creating webinars with leading experts in the Forex industry.
