MGom you should check the Speculative Managed Money Sector. they have almost 6 million bags.
ICE stocks are a good reference point for green coffee availability at destination, say the US. Due to a shortage of containers in main producing countries and crazy high freight costs + ver high shortterm demand before christmas, these stocks have decreased significantly, which increases demand for fresh coffee from origin, hence price goes up.

From Vietnam, India amongst others there is very bad weather and poor crops. The bottom line is it is very simple. Supply is less than demand, thats it.

I think it will be a bit higher than that,but still well below last decade´s highs of around 8.5 mill bags.
So my trade plan is too close some of my more recent longs just shy off 260 and then wait. My much longer term longs are tucked up in bed for winter.... dust them off around spring next year
