@ Ruben, I'm out of AMZN all but a few shares. I am very bullish on the Internet of Things and AI (Deep learning) and I am taking the opportunity to buy some stocks getting beaten up. GOOG, AAPL, IBM, MSFT. Amazon is a great company but like I said, no earnings!!! Look at Apple. over $8 per share profit, little debt and a boat load of cash.. AMZN hmmm $4.36 in earnings. Apple trades at $105 and AMZN at $725. Amazon would have to increase profits 12x's and would still be below Apple earning/price value. It just doesn't make sense. More sales does not make more profit period. However AMZN is growing sales wise and profits will soon come, but I think it has to get back to $350 range for me to be a buyer. It has more sales growth than Apple so that does constitute a premium but not 7x's.

Forget signals, profits have been flat regardless of sales increases. There's your sign. Trading above a 350 valuation. The sheppard has led the sheep to the fleecing. Look to buy back in around 150 where the stock should be trading. #1 rule in business, it's not how much in sales you do, it's how much profits you earn. I buy businesses. 2-3x's profits is what a company is worth. Throw out sales growth their profit margin ******and it is not worth anything near what it is trading at. And if you don't think Walmart (yes walmart) is going to come after them with guns a blazing you are a sucker. remember this. If you do not see a sucker sitting at the table then you my friend are the sucker!!!

If it closes bottom $760 today it would break the support at $758 and would become the resistance at $758 and the new support at $725. Don't buy until it gets closer to the new support line.

Go on amazon and buy the CD by the Everly Brothers!! DREAM DREAM DREAM. . You will see $400 before $900. Look at the bottom line. Profits doubled from 2013 to 2015. However they will not double from 2015 to 2016. They may not even have an increase YOY. 172 PE? are you kidding me. They would need to increase profits 500% to get to a 24 PE where google normally trades. So if every three years they increase 100% (based on past performance) It will take 9 years for them to trade at a reasonable PE. hmmmmm too much competition, and their market share will erode. Not only that they are being flocked by counterfeit products from China. People will lose faith. Read the 90% of apple products sold on Amazon are counterfeit. Here is your sign!!! Sell and cut your losses. Buy Apple MSFT even IBM they are the future

Hey Andrew, I am writing a SWOT analysis about Amazon and you clearly have a strong understanding of finance, would you be able to suggest anything important would I could mention? I am looking at Amazon over the past five years while evaluating their future. Any ideas? .
