This is not a confidence builder for Trump as he is not in the office yet. I think the market will attempt to ****confidence toward his administration just as did the media before he got elected. Everyone is throwing a tantrum because we have an outsider coming to drain the swamp. And they will do everything in their power to maintain the swamp as is. Just my thinking.

I looked at it from this view also. Here is basic calculation: Pre crisis high (Oct 2007): 14,267 Post criss low (Mar 2009): 7,880. Delta: 6,387. 1.618 = 18,214 (done); 1.75 = 19,057 (done) 100%: 20,654 (will be done soon). We jumped 300 points yesterday, another 500 today shouldn't surprise us (maybe I am burnt so talking like 500 today, but really we shouldn't be surprised).

I don't think they are going to wait till the exact day to bring this down; it would look too obvious. It might go sideways for the next few weeks. The other scenario i that the Fed is trying to gain his favor.
