Martin, you shorted at ..40!!! U might have to wait because I think the spx will go through a few hours of cnsolidation and and upday tomorrow cannot be excluded! How do you do that to take that much risk and being so patient?

By the way SPX is likely to continue the fall -- maybe reverse some few points but ONLY m a y be --- it has closed bellow and important level -- and it might accelerate even more

The S&P is sitting above key support, as far as my inner market technician leads me to believe.

1949 is moderate support -- 1930 does not look like support to me -- and if yes rather weak support

WD, how do you see the correlation between the dollar index and the spx -- cause I don' t use this correlation for my trading -- I think I am the smallest fish of you all --

BB I use whatever is in play. I don't monitor it all of the time as most of the time it is not important. The changes of policy of the Yuan caused me to check it out. Look at the dx and see the cause. IMO

Tommy you are right it is way to early for QE. The FED will let the Euro devaluate for a while since they are good friends (and partners) with the IMF. That leaves the market in limbo.:^(
