you have negative interest rates in china as well?.....i still get 8.1-9% p.a on my cash fixed deposits......thats huge.....gold has to rise 9% to beat that.....dont look like it

less inflation rate so what does gold need to achieve in real terms papa...probably about 2 % not 8% like you claim...) assuming that the inflation rate is accurate and there is no dodgy accounting on the go...)

on the year and not fixed on a 12 month period...lol...so that return you get on a fixed rate inflation adjusted has been met already on gold and it is only three months into the year...not sure about "don't look like it"...anyways...
