Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Property, Miscellaneous Industry and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS), which rose 24.00% or 300 points to trade at 1550 at the close. Meanwhile, Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) added 23.97% or 175 points to end at 905 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was up 17.14% or 60 points to 410 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (JK:HDTX), which fell 24.92% or 162 points to trade at 488 at the close. Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) declined 24.34% or 110 points to end at 342 and Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) was down 20.00% or 2800 points to 11200.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 218 to 115 and 96 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) rose to all time highs; rising 24.00% or 300 to 1550. Shares in Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) rose to all time highs; up 23.97% or 175 to 905.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.11% or 0.05 to $47.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $49.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.71% or 9.15 to trade at $1291.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13297.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.02% to 9933.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.68.
