Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Trade and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI), which rose 24.87% or 700 points to trade at 3515 at the close. Meanwhile, Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) added 23.97% or 29 points to end at 150 and Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) was up 19.28% or 16 points to 99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA), which fell 13.71% or 27.00 points to trade at 170.00 at the close. Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN) declined 12.00% or 420 points to end at 3080 and Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (JK:SMDM) was down 11.72% or 17 points to 128.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 177 to 169 and 31 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.45% or 0.27 to $59.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $66.71 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.02% or 12.50 to trade at $1212.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.71% to 13115.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.29% to 10606.50.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.48% at 93.85.
