Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk (JK:TIRT), which rose 16.67% or 20 points to trade at 140 at the close. Meanwhile, Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP) added 14.36% or 56 points to end at 446 and Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU) was up 13.04% or 150 points to 1300 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI), which fell 10.00% or 30 points to trade at 270 at the close. Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) declined 9.90% or 95 points to end at 865 and Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) was down 9.88% or 17.00 points to 155.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 181 to 112 and 91 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk (JK:TIRT) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 16.67% or 20 to 140. Shares in Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.90% or 95 to 865. Shares in Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.88% or 17.00 to 155.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.07% or 0.53 to hit $49.06 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1218.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 13554.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.18% to 9830.40.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.28.
