Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA), which rose 25.00% or 52.000 points to trade at 260.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Hotel Mandarine Regency Tbk (JK:HOME) added 24.76% or 52 points to end at 262 and Trans Power Marine Tbk (JK:TPMA) was up 20.69% or 30 points to 175 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS), which fell 10.00% or 9 points to trade at 81 at the close. Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) declined 9.81% or 775 points to end at 7125 and Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH) was down 9.52% or 8 points to 76.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 147 to 138 and 106 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.94% or 0.47 to $50.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.83% or 0.43 to hit $51.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.46% or 5.75 to trade at $1262.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.23% to 13027.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.42% to 10011.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 97.64.
