Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Trade and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA), which rose 15.04% or 17 points to trade at 130 at the close. Meanwhile, Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) added 13.66% or 700 points to end at 5825 and Star Petrcohem Tbk (JK:STAR) was up 11.76% or 6 points to 57 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which fell 19.64% or 22 points to trade at 90 at the close. Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW) declined 13.98% or 13 points to end at 80 and Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) was down 13.92% or 485 points to 3000.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 180 to 147 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) fell to 3-years lows; losing 19.64% or 22 to 90. Shares in Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) rose to all time highs; rising 13.66% or 700 to 5825. Shares in Star Petrcohem Tbk (JK:STAR) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 11.76% or 6 to 57. Shares in Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) fell to 52-week lows; losing 13.92% or 485 to 3000.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.47% or 0.28 to $60.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.74% or 0.49 to hit $66.05 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.74% or 8.90 to trade at $1213.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13140.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.39% to 10332.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 94.94.
