Getting ready to buy. inverse h&s pattern.
Sell dollars and buy chf
The Swiss franc I think is a safe alternative instead of the dollar we expect the dollar to fall further to 00.800
chf is safe haven..if anyone or institution has tons of liquidity where do you put it? which gov do you trust to pay it back? US? every months they have politicians &%#heads deciding to default or not? Europe?? no thank you!! Swiss seems only stable gov with wealthy taxpayers..
Holding illiquid currency which was once pegged to euro and crashed more than 3500 pips in a single day causing several brokers to go bankrupt is considered “safe”. BTW, why didn’t it rally when war in Ukraine started then and rallied when SNB announced that they’re selling fx reserves?
Nobody went bankrupt holding CHF - holding euros and other currencies of course. never trust a peg...see pound...and it was fantastic time, since everybody overreacted - as usual - it was a great opportunity The SNB intervening is dwarfed by the Fed QT, who sells 90b bonds a month - but the problem is and was QE which devalued the dollar for good - and causes the inflation - money for free - it does only happen in badly managed economies. The SNB never announces its sales...it publishes quarterly transactions, since a few years...long term trend is important..not short term rallies
Chf is not safe haven,it’s SNB selling other currencies look at their fx reserves, soon their economy will suffer+deflation and they’ll sell chf again
Exactly. Chf without foreign reserves backing is nothing.
lol ...Switzerland has one of the highest foreign reserves in the world...
All war news are already priced in
In case the Israel/Hamas war go worse, the next support 0.8560 (7/2023) will definitely come into sight since CHF is one of the haven currencies.
