Stuart FX,If price closes at 1.6920 that will put a stop to the downtrend ,but as for now bearish momentum dominates this pair so stay short ,bank profit or adjust your stop loss into profit and let the market do the rest.

Could this be the end of the trend? We are at the 61.8 right now so we could see some movement up to the 1.73 for the following months if the pattern continues. It looks like the GBP has rested enough and is going back up again. We will see what the next couple of days bring because we are at an important level right now.

Unfiortunately, we will not see 1.73 in the next 3-6 months at least, because the bullish trend is over as seen by the break of yearly support level of corridor. Thus, a long correction to the upwards trend is underway.

Where is the break of yearly support level?

Once price closes under and around 1.6705 to 1.6680 we can start talking about a certanin no doubt change in trend. This would mean breaking the previous Lower High (LH) Consequently it would be at around the break of the neck if a head and shoulder pattern would to form but we are just talking about price. .
