To Nelson Guo: Where did you find the weekly production number? - "Production during this week was record high (4.8% higher than same week last year)"

Too bad I missed the action on Thursday. Reading all the bull comments is amusing, you'd think you won the war of 1812. Bottom line: We were at 4.5. If the report was bearish, we'd be circa 4.3. If it was bullish, we'd be circa 4.7. I'm more interested in seeing what happens at either end (does 4.7 become 5?, does 4.3 become 4?). Anyway, we're at 4.73. All we've managed to do thus far is get back to where we were early March. C3P0 was jizzing in his golden pants back then too, with the March 4th bullish report. It stuck around 4.73 for days, unable to break higher. The next two reports were bearish and NG got torn down to 4.3/2. Now what? I don't know, the force doesn't work for this $#@& thing. I'm better at studying history and looking for trends vs. predicting where NG is going (although it's fun to do that). If I were to GUESS I'd say it either goes to 5+ (which it could not do in much colder March with the same storage concerns) or retreats down to 4.5 before the next report on Thursday. Short term, that seems more reasonable to me then the bullish $7 (and bearish $3) calls I read. The NG party ended last year on Friday April 19th 2013 (check it out yourself). We will have to see if the party this year ends on Friday April 18th 2014. I'll keep doing what my P&L says works: Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful. Best of luck to everyone (but mostly bears... hehe!)

DT the injection did not meet projection by 12! Out here the in YYC oil companies that use lots of NG for steam injection in ICDs are concerned at the high price of $4.50. Energy companies that burn NG will revert back to coal or other cheaper avenues. Passing the buck to the end user will not work to recoup the cost. I think NG's price right now is so superficial that we will see a huge correction. Producers are racing to take advantage of this high price and filing up those " tanks". Every bit of research i have done in the past 3 months points to lower priced gas (El Nino, Warm spring, cool summer, no freakish winter, economy hanging fragile etc etc). Bottom line is NO ONE HERE has the correct answer. The people or scammers that know are the big boys JPM-GS etc that control the market, We are just little mosquitos buzzing around guessing and if we are correct we gloat and if we are not we cry. My guess is from here till the middle or end of MAY we will see proper correction once the FAT CATS fill there POTS.

This was the spike I had been waiting on, cashed out, and now waiting to go short with DGAZ. Thursday caught both bears and bulls by surprise. In early May the US nuclear power maintenance season will be over and over 25,000 Mwatts will begin to come back online. PB's forecast injections are incredibly huge compared to 2013. I mean +40 Bcf per week larger than 2013 type monster injections. Just like Mr. Tee said "no one here has the correct answer." I'm going to play it safe and wait out next week, counting my lucky stars. Yes, best of luck to everyone!

+40 Bcf per week (5.1 Bcf per day)? It had better be more than that or North America is in trouble this Winter! In 2013 from April 05 (1673 Bcf) to November 08 (3834 Bcf) a total of 2161 bcf in 218. days (9.91 Bcf per day)...& that is the maximum at for any year since natural gas started production! Check the numbers in the EIA historical archives..
