Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 2.24% or 210.0 points to trade at 9600.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 1.85% or 150.0 points to end at 8260.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.47% or 30.0 points to 2065.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.08% or 160.0 points to trade at 7540.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 0.95% or 90.0 points to end at 9360.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 0.79% or 100.0 points to 12500.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 11.
Shares in Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.79% or 100.0 to 12500.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.02% or 0.03 to $133.32 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.73% or 50.00 to hit $2933.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.45% or 5.30 to trade at $1192.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.95% to 2386.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.34% to 778.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 95.27.
