Hi Milan, Mel.I see the Head and shoulder pattern as indicated by Milan - from a Technical point Cocoa needs to be shorted.Mel - There could be problems on the supply side - this is more a Fundamental decision driver..I am new to the trading, which one will win? The Bull or the bear? The fundamental or the Technical?..Any wise men / lady to advise?

Well the H&S pattern has not come to fruition yet. 2625 still needs to be taken out on volume. A monthly H&S pattern takes alot longer to develop. So Mel could very well be right in short term time frame. If 2750 gets taken out, we could see a pop up to 2875. As a trader, you want to be objective as possible!

I think the price increase in limit range by black pod disease evidenced in Ivory Coast. The weather pattern from dry to very wet. Already affected 20% is estimated. it is clear that the harvest will increase but there will be a lot of cocoa rejected by quality

Be careful buying. Oct/Nov is seasonally the worst months for Cocoa. There's a huge Head and shoulder pattern on the monthly chart and if that came to fruition, prices could be headed to 2200 - 2300. Disclosure: Short position from 2800. Looking to add on every pop
