Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Inversionist and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.43% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 2.33% or 1320.0 points to trade at 58020.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 2.26% or 0.4 points to end at 18.1 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.93% or 340.0 points to 18000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 3.97% or 250.0 points to trade at 6050.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) declined 0.84% or 10.0 points to end at 1180.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 0.76% or 200.0 points to 26100.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 2.64% or 3.85 to $141.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.14% or 4.00 to hit $2786.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.75% or 9.20 to trade at $1209.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.63% to 2507.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.08% to 799.92.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.02% at 98.19.
