Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 2.76% or 320.0 points to trade at 11900.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 2.57% or 620.0 points to end at 24740.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 2.20% or 560.0 points to 26060.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which fell 1.28% or 100.0 points to trade at 7720.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 0.99% or 260.0 points to end at 26080.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was down 0.72% or 120.0 points to 16640.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 12 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.77% or 1.05 to $136.07 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.71% or 22.00 to hit $3116.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.66% or 7.80 to trade at $1185.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.21% to 2526.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.71% to 811.59.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.59% at 94.61.
