Its Investment in Sunoco LP segment distributes and markets fuels products. Its Investment in USAC segment offers natural gas compression services. Its All Other segment offers natural gas compression equipment and compression services; manages coal and natural resources property, sells standing timber, and leases coal-related infrastructure facilities; and generates electrical power. The company was formerly known as Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. and changed its name to Energy Transfer Operating, L.P. in October 2018. The company was founded in 1995 and is based in Dallas, Texas. Energy Transfer Operating, L.P. operates as a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP.
