Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 7.29% or 2.90 points to trade at 42.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 3.73% or 5.25 points to end at 146.00 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 3.11% or 1.75 points to 58.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.35% or 0.55 points to trade at 12.10 at the close. National Industrialization Co (SE:2060) declined 3.76% or 0.50 points to end at 12.80 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was down 3.70% or 0.65 points to 16.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 27 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; up 3.73% or 5.25 to 146.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.47% or 0.71 to $47.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.78% or 0.87 to hit $48.06 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 2.09% or 26.65 to trade at $1247.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.2006, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 95.35.
